At the border between Canada and the United States, these buildings serve as the home of the Canadian border control. Serving thousands of people per day, The facility is one of the 10 most used border crossing between the Canada and the US.
There were two major hurdles to this project:
The first was the requirement of keeping the existing crossing booths operating while construction on the new ones were happening and then having the new ones working and fully controlled before the old crossing booths could be deconstructed.
The second was the deadline. There was a hard deadline, regardless of any change orders to the project, the deadline did not move.
